Förderkreis / Circle of Friends

Since its founding the Förderkreis / The Circle of Friends has enriched the DLM‘s collections by many valuable artefacts. Students and seniors, scientists and entrepreneurs, families and friends of  the arts, all support the foundation, whose tasks according the statutes are  "the promotion of the concerns of the German Leather Museum/Shoe Museum Offenbach through improvement of the material basis of the Museum’s operations (...) through purchase of artefacts and through encouragement of international contacts".
One of the sponsors‘ principal intentions is the meeting of world cultures. As a member of the Circle of Friends you are one of the sponsors and actively take part in the collection. You receive the Museum’s programmes and information free of charge and are a preferred participant in the Museum’s activities: excursions, lectures, vernissages, special guided tours, concerts, etc.  You have free admission to the collections and a special reduced rate for special events.

As a Friend of the Museum You are always our Guest of Honour!

For individual members the annual charge is 60 €, for families 75 €.
Companies sponsor from 120 €, foreign memberships start at 150 US$.
