We ask that you observe our house rules during your visit. These are displayed in our entrance area and are published here.

The exhibitions at the German Leather Museum are barrier-free and can be accessed via ramps and lifts. There is a toilet for the disabled on the ground floor. People with impaired mobility can make use of wheelchairs or rollators available for loan for the duration of their visit.

Our staff are there to assist visitors and will be happy to make seating available for them as they tour the museum.

Seating is provided in the museum. Folding stools are also available, which visitors can take with them into the exhibition rooms.

You can leave coats, backpacks and bags in our cloakroom or in secure lockers during your visit. These are available free of charge. The museum cannot accept any liability for the cloakroom or the contents of the lockers.

It is not permitted to eat or drink in the exhibition rooms. Likewise, visitors are prohibited from carrying any liquids with them. Items can be left in the cloakroom and lockers on the ground floor.

Strollers can be taken into the exhibition rooms. A diaper-changing station is available in the disabled toilet.

You can take photos for private purposes in general throughout the building but must not use a flash. Those objects that may not be photographed are labelled accordingly. We ask for your cooperation in this regard.

Anyone wishing to take photos or film and audio recordings for commercial or editorial purposes will need to obtain a permit. To do so, please contact us in advance of your visit.

We would like to point out that publication of photos on the internet and on social media does not constitute personal use and may contravene copyrights.
